Scientific Inquiries VS Scriptural Claims

Direct Link

With no such intent, scientific inquiries have fully refuted scriptural claims of physical truths.

Look up “Human Population Bottleneck”, you’ll learn that human population has never been below 3,000, therefore scriptural claims of only two, Adam and Eve and Noah’s eight are impossible.

Localized floods are commonplace as we can clearly see in current events.
Multiple scientific disciplines have fully verified that there was never a worldwide flood that destroyed all life.

Factually, Genesis tales are impossible.
Without the truth of the foundation tale of Genesis, everything that builds on that mythical foundation must also be mythical.

If one continues to believe scriptures’ alleged and asserted truths, it is only because one wants to believe in myths, not because these alleged truths are actually true.

As scriptures are not actually true, their only possible value can be as metaphor.
If metaphor, they are fully open to each and every individual’s interpretation, therefore they cannot have universal value.

As metaphor, what is the take away from Genesis 2 and 3?

Genesis 2:17

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.

Genesis 3:2-5

2) The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,

3) but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ”

4) “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.

5) “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

First, as the tale continues, Adam lived over 900 years, far from dying as soon as the command was dis-obeyed.

Second, whatever could possibly be so wrong with having knowledge of good and evil?

Third, according to the tale, Adam and Eve were the first humans ever, they could have only minimal life experience, they could have no knowledge passed down to them from previous generations, therefore they must have been extremely innocent, naïve and gullible.
Well knowing His creations were so naïve and gullible, God passive/aggressively baits them with an irresistible trap, well knowing they will fail.
And for this failure, all subsequent generations are doomed to carry sin, all for God’s psychotic desire to punish what He has made imperfect.

Metaphorically, God himself has unacceptable morality, He manipulatively abuses His own power and authority, He’s just nuts.
