@tgnoble

I’ve presented you with more scientific evidence of evolution than it’s likely one person could absorb in a lifetime, you dismiss it out of hand, likely without even a glance.

That’s the Michael Behe method, it didn’t work in Dover, it doesn’t play on Twitter either.

It’s clear you are a Ken Ham supporter, denial is a way of life.

Your ilk glances at facts, backtracks your way into making facts fit scripture when you well know the opposite is impossible.

Scripture does not describe the real world, there is no firmament, Earth is not the Center of everything, human population has never bottle-necked down to eight or two, there was no Worldwide Flood, banishment is not treatment for leprosy, slavery is horrifically immoral and on and on and on.

Many of #atheisttwitter can thoroughly school you on the bible. Most of us are former believers who have critically analyzed our beliefs and rejected those beliefs as nonsense.

We are no longer intimidated by the greedy and wicked allure of everlasting languor and pleasure after death, that’s an infantile belief.

The threat of eternal torture simply for lack of belief is likewise childishly absurd.

We live life for life itself, not for after death.

Vicarious redemption, salvation and/or forgiveness might be THE MOST immoral of all beliefs. When or if you wrong someone, you own the wrong, the wrong owns you, it’s up to you and you alone to make amends with your victim and your victim alone.

To think an incantation to your magical, imaginary sky daddy relieves you of responsibility is as evil as evil can be. You want a definition of sin? I just gave it to you.

So, why are you on Twitter engaging with atheists? Do you think your lame arguments will convert any of us back to your mock-able “Worldview”? By the way, stop saying “Worldview” and “Kinds”. To posit a so called “Worldview” implies that opinion defines reality. Sorry.

I suspect you engage #atheisttwitter for another reason, you have nagging doubts in the hidden recesses of your thoughts, you secretly question the veracity of your beliefs, you test those beliefs against #atheisttwitter with all the Ken Ham arguments you can muster.

Come out of your closet, embrace life. If you fear rejection of religion will leave a void in your psyche, you’ll find the opposite, the space now full of lies will overflow with the joy of living for you and yours, with and part of the rest of the human family.

Ah, “Atheist”, the word has a very negative stigma in your mind, doesn’t it? I cannot fault you for that, it’s a bold statement for one who has spent a lifetime believing without evidence.

Try “Humanist”. It has a much finer ring to it, it may be the most noble concept of all. It too implies no supplication to the unseen and immaterial while acknowledging our unique human intellect and universal altruism. What could be better than that?

Ten horned, seven headed demons? Really? Come on now, start thinking like an adult.
